“The Greens have been making gains across the country and we are delighted to see positive improvement in the vote share here and I am confident of bringing more success in the future.

“People are turning to the Greens because they know that we work for their community and don’t take their support for granted.
For too long residents in North Tyneside have felt let down and ignored by the main two parties but now, as people feel the full force of the cost of living crisis and with the climate crisis on our doorstep, they can see that a better future is possible.”
North Tyneside Green Party has been campaigning hard on issues such as:
- Sustainable and affordable housing.
- Upgrading and increasing our public transport.
- Addressing litter and dog mess.
- Supporting local businesses and workers.
- Developing facilities for young people.
- Improving our footpaths, roads and cycleways.
- Urgent action on the climate emergency.
Greens across the country are working hard for both people and planet. These gains mean the Greens can have even more of an influence in ensuring we have a fairer, Greener society.
